We've designed this brand-new class offering to help you take your throwing skills to the next level! Have you ever heard the saying that "the clay tells you what it wants to be"? Well, it doesn't have to be that way! We're here to help you accomplish the shapes you set out to make, rather than settling for what just happens to take form. Crafted for the experienced beginner to intermediate thrower, we'll help you bridge the gap between making art and making YOUR art! Skills worked in this 3-part course will include collaring, using tools to shape clay, making intentional shapes, attaching auxiliary pieces (like handles or spouts), surface decoration, and glazing 2.0! *Students MUST be able to center and throw independently to take this class!* Takes place over three sessions: May 8th from 5-7PM May 9th from 3:30-5:30PM & May 22nd from 5-7PM Participants attend all three sessions.
