Service Description
Perfect for beginners or those looking for a refresher, this 4-part course includes all the basics of throwing pottery on a wheel. Participants will learn techniques for centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing, and will come away from the course with 1-3 finished pieces. Each class period is designed to teach students the steps to creating ceramic art from start to finish, so it's best if students can attend all four sessions. One free pass for open studio hours is included with this course for extra self-directed time if desired. *Please Note: Kids 13 and under are only allowed to use pottery wheels after taking private lessons and may need adult supervision*
